Today, March 28, 2008, Quixtar (Amway Global in North America) launched the “Now you Know” campaign, phase I of a three phase campaign to increase awareness of the company and create positive impression about the brand. The first public component is a full page add in today’s USA Today.

The ad states –

  1. What will be interesting to see is whether — or rather, when — they roll out the “Amway Global” name for all country affiliates. They’ve stated that they do want to operate under a common name for branding purposes around the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was one of the points of discussion and for coordination at the recent Prague Communciations Managers conference. It won’t be much of a shift to go from “Amway” to “Amway Global” in non-North American markets. And when the UK/ROI re-opens for sponsoring business, I wonder if you guys will see the Amway Global name introduced at that point.

  2. The word Global would be a nice addition for us actually anything would be a nice addition at this time for us – even sponsoring, to be honest we have Amway so Global – why not bring it on!
